ကင်မ် နဲ့ ကင်မ်ချီ

ကင်မ်က ကိုရီးယားနိုင်ငံမှာ မွေးဖွား ကြီးပြင်းခဲ့သူပါ။ အခြားကိုရီးယားအမျိုးသားတွေလိုပဲ စစ်တပ်မှာ ၂ နှစ်ကြာ စစ်မှုထမ်းခဲ့ပါတယ်။ တာဝန်ထမ်းဆောင်စဥ်ကာလမှာ ထမင်းချက်အဖြစ် စစ်သား ၁၀၀ ကျော်အတွက် နေ့စဥ်အစားအစာကို ပြင်ဆင်ပေးခဲ့ပါတယ်။ အချက်အပြုတ် စိတ်ဝင်စားသူဆိုတော့ သူ့ဝါသနာနဲ့ ကွက်တိပါပဲ။

စစ်မှုထမ်းကာလအပြီးမှာ ကင်မ်က ပညာရေးကို ပြန်အချိန်ပေးပါတယ်။ ကောလိပ်ဆက်တက်ရင်း စားသောက်ဆိုင်ငယ်လေးတစ်ခုမှာ အချိန်ပိုင်းအလုပ် ဝင်လုပ်ခဲ့တယ်။ ကိုရီးယားနိုင်ငံမှာက ကျောင်းတက်ရင်း အလုပ်လုပ်ကာ အပိုဝင်ငွေရှာဖွေတာ သဘာဝဖြစ်ပါတယ်။

ကင်မ်ဘဝရဲ့ ဒုတိယမြောက်အပိုင်းက နယ်မြေသစ်မှာ အခြေချဖို့ ဆုံးဖြတ်လိုက်ချိန်မှာ စပါတယ်။ နိုင်ငံသစ်တစ်ခုမှာ စွန့်စားခန်းထွက်ဖို့ သူစိတ်ကူးခဲ့တယ်။ ကမ္ဘာတဝန်းမှာ ကိုဗစ်ပထမလှိုင်းစဖြစ်တော့ မြန်မာနိုင်ငံကို သူရောက်နှင့်နေပါပြီ။

ကိုဗစ်ကြောင့် ဒီမှာလာပြီး အလုပ်လုပ်နေတဲ့ ကိုရီးယားလူမျိုးတွေရဲ့ မိသားစု အတော်များများက ကိုရီးယားကို ပြန်သွားကြတယ်။ အလုပ်သမားတွေကတော့ ဒီမှာနေခဲ့တာပေ့ါ။ ကျန်ခဲ့တဲ့ ကိုရီးယားလူမျိုးတွေကို ကင်မ်ချီလုပ်ပြီးရောင်းဖို့အတွေး အဲ့မှာ ခေါင်းထဲဝင်လာတယ်ဆိုပါတော့။ ဘာလို့လဲဆိုတော့ ကိီုရးယားလူမျိုးတွေအတွက် ကင်မ်ချီက မရှိမဖြစ်ဆိုတာ သူသိနေတယ်လေ။ အဲ့တာနဲ့ ရုံးအလုပ်ကိုလည်းလုပ်ရင်း တစ်ဖက်မှာ “3822” ကို အကောင်အထည်ဖော်ခဲ့ပါတယ်။

ကမ်င်က သူ့ရဲ့ မြန်မာဘာသာစကား သင်ပေးတဲ့ဆရာက ပေးထားတဲ့ ထွန်းထွန်းဆိုတဲ့နာမည်ကို သိပ်သဘောကျပါတယ်။ ကင်မ်ချီလုပ်နည်းမှာ ဆရာကျပြီးသား ကင်မ်က လက်ရှိမှာဆိုရင် မြန်မာစကားကိုလည်း ဆရာကျကျပြောတတ်အောင် သင်ယူလျက်ရှိပါတယ်။

Kim was born and raised in Korea. Like all Korean males, he enlisted and served in the military for two years as a youth. During his service period, he prepared daily meals for over 100 soldiers. He enjoyed his duty as a cook for the fellow soldiers in the camp.

After Kim was discharged from the military, he resumed his education. He attended college while taking on a part-time job at a bistro bar. In Korea, it is normal for students to take part-time jobs to earn income.

The second chapter of Kim’s life started when he decided to move to a different land. He looked forward to having an adventure in a new country. When the Covid first wave disrupted the world, he was already in Myanmar.

Due to the Covid pandemic, most of the family members of Korean expats went back to their home country. However, the expats had to remain because of work. That’s when the idea of making and selling kimchi struck Kim! He knew that Korean people couldn’t live without kimchi at all. So, aside from the regular job, he started “3822” as a side hustle.

Kim now prefers to call himself Tun Tun, a nickname given to him by his Burmese language teacher. He is trying to master the Burmese language like he had mastered the art of making kimchi.
